Hypnotic Passivity?!?
Hypnotic passivity is when you feel your thoughts and actions aren't your own. It's like your mind is running on autopilot, and you are just navigating through life without absolute control over what's happening around you. A lack of focus and a disconnect from your emotions and actions causes this state of being. It's often due to stress, fatigue, or a feeling of being overwhelmed by all of the tasks and responsibilities in life, leading to a feeling of being powerless to take control. This sense of detachment from yourself can lead to apathy, resentment, and even depression, creating a complex cycle to break out of.
How to know if you are in hypnotic passivity
· You live by other people's timelines, messages, and agendas.
· You are unaware of yourself, your inner dialogues and your beliefs.
· You are unaware of how your choices and decisions affect your life.
Symptoms of being in hypnotic passivity
You may have noticed that you are constantly reacting to events and people. You feel like external forces control your life and aren't in control of it.
You might also feel like something needs to be added or there is something more, but you still need to identify it.
How to get out of hypnotic passivity and regain control over your mind, body and soul
· Understand your beliefs and habits.
· Know what you want in life.
· Be aware of how your choices affect your life.
· Be aware of how others influence you. For example, if someone says, "You should do this" or "You shouldn't do that," then take a step back and think about it for yourself before making any decisions based on their advice or opinions alone; because what works for one person may not work for another--and vice versa!
It's also important to realize that advertisers want us all hooked up on caffeine, so we'll buy more coffee from them (or whatever product they sell). They also want us addicted to sugar because we'll buy sweets from them too! And finally, those pesky pharmaceutical companies keep inventing new drugs every year...and sometimes those drugs aren't always safe either!
How can I know if I'm in hypnotic passivity?
You may be in hypnotic passivity if you:
· You don't know what you want or even who you are.
· You're constantly feeling like something is missing.
· You're not sure what you're doing with your life.
· You feel like something is wrong but can't put your finger on it, making you anxious and depressed because there's nothing to fix!
· Your life has no meaning or purpose, which causes more anxiety and depression because there's nothing to fix!
Are you aware of yourself, your inner dialogues, beliefs, and habits?
Do you know how the world sees you? Do you know why people react to you as they do? Are these reactions based on who they think you are or who they want to see in front of them at that moment in time?
These are all important questions as we go through life, and we must understand ourselves to interact with others without getting confused about our identity.
What are some examples of being in hypnotic passivity?
· The media and advertisers.
· The government.
· Religion, schools and family influence you in ways considered hypnotic passivity.
· Your friends' opinions can also control your thoughts and actions, often based on fear of being excluded from the group or peer pressure.
You may be living in hypnotic passivity if you don't feel like you have control over your life or decisions if you always feel like something is missing or that there is something more, but you haven't been able to identify it yet.

Hypnotic passivity is a state of mind that can be hard to identify and escape. It's essential, though, because if you're living in hypnotic passivity, then it means there are parts of your life that aren't being fulfilled--and this could be causing stress or anxiety for both yourself and others around you. If any of these symptoms sound familiar, I highly recommend reflecting on how they might affect your life in the future (and what steps could be taken toward overcoming them).
